Dear breeders,
This breed order is a standard breeding order. We ask you to request the breed order of your breed at the FRZ e.V. Since we develop breed-specific breeding orders. Thank you so much.
Breeding conditions for pedigree dogs and conditions of registration of the studbook office of the international umbrella association FRZ e.V.
Free Racial Breeder e.V.
1. General:
The breeding and registration conditions are binding for all members and affiliated associations of the FRZ e.V.
The board of directors of the FRZ e.V., the main breed warden and the breeding warden, as well as breed judges are responsible for the observance of the breed regulations.
The breeding regulations should help to achieve as a basis an improvement of the standard.
The aim of the breeders should be to produce better offspring from good parent animals. In order to achieve this, special emphasis must be placed on a special breed selection, taking into account suitable hereditary carriers.
The first principle should be: Improvement of the races, but not: Propagation of pedigree dogs.
The Animal Welfare Act is to be observed.
2.) Breeding requirements:
The basic requirement for the keeping of dogs and the maintenance of the breed must be: the guarantee of a dry, clean, sufficiently bright and well-ventilated accommodation for the animals. Daily good enough quality food, constantly accessible fresh water are as well as daily spout and the attention of the breeder the top priority.
a.) Each breeder should get in touch with the responsible breed attendant before the intended mating and seek advice for the selection of a suitable stud dog.
First breeders need to get detailed advice before planning a litter from a breeding warden to pregnancy, litter, rearing of the puppies and puppies. Likewise, the kennel is previously inspected by the Breeding Warden or a veterinarian commissioned by the Breeding Committee. The costs are borne by the breeder.
b.) Inbreeding and incest breeding requires the written approval of the Breeding Committee of the FRZ e.V. before mating. These mating must be justified. If a license has been granted, the master breed warden or a breeding warden appointed by him must supervise and document the litter and its development.
c.) If bred with breeds that occur in different variants, only breeding pairs of the same variant may be paired, unless written permission of the breeding committee has been obtained. Exceptions are regulated by the respective valid FCI standards of the breeds.
d.) It may only be bred with healthy dogs, which are registered in a breeding book or register recognized by the FRZ e.V. In addition, both animals must have the written approval in a manner recognized by the FRZ e.V. before mating. Breeding approvals can only be made by a breeding judge in exceptional cases by the Breeding Warden.
Breeding animals must have been regularly dewormed and must continue to be dewormed regularly.
Breeding animals must have a complete vaccination (SHLP-T).
Breeding animals must be free of disease and parasite infestation and in very good general condition.
f.) Breeding age:
Small breeds (up to 45 cm height at the withers)
The minimum breeding age for males and females must not be less than 12 months. (Exceptions must be requested and approved by the board)
Great breeds (from 45 cm height at the withers)
The minimum age for males must not be less than 12 months and bitches 15 months. (Exceptions must be requested and approved by the Board).
The breed-specific examinations have to be presented at the beginning of the course.
g.) Cesarean section
After a caesarean section (whether planned or unplanned), the breeder is forced to suspend a heat!
h.) Puppy number
After a birth of 1-3 puppies, taking into account the mental and physical condition of the bitch, an occupancy in the following heat can be agreed, but then the breeder has to make sure that 2 cycles are paused!
Every breeder must have his breeding animals tested for race-specific diseases.
Which breed-specific diseases are to be examined for your dog, please contact the studbook office. Forms are available at the studbook office.

Pairings are allowed: A with A hips, A with B, A with C and B with B
The breeding age for males is not limited. It depends on his physical vitality.
Bitches may deliver their last litter at the age of 7 years.
If a bitch is occupied twice in a row, she must remain empty in the following heat. A bitch may not raise more puppies than their condition allows (possibly nurse rearing, etc.). With a bitch may be bred in principle only in a club.
The breeders are obliged to report every litter to the breeding book office within 48 hours. Proven bad sires can subsequently be revoked the breeding permission.
It is recommended that all studies be conducted on diseases that may affect the breed, in order to keep the breeding of breed-specific diseases free.
Before the litter breeder has to apply for a cattery name under which the puppies will later be kept in the FRZ e.V.
The kennel name becomes and can only be protected by the FRZ e.V.
If a breeder has several breeds, the kennel name applies to all breeds he breeds, unless different kennel names are requested. The puppy names of a litter start with the same initial letter. When breeding with several breeding animals and breeds, the alphabet continues in the kennel. The first litter in a kennel starts with the letter "A" for the pseudonyms of all puppies of this litter, the second with "B" etc.
The breeder changes the breeding association and retains his former kennel name in the FRZ e.V. so he can continue in the alphabet.
The breeder is basically the owner of the dog at the time of the litter.
4.) Cover fees
The cover fees are usually payable immediately after the cover act to the stud dog owner. They should be recorded in writing before the athlete's discretion. In case of non-susceptibility (but not with discarding) the breeder is still free for the same dog according to old sports and breeding rules. However, this is governed exclusively by the cover contract.
5.) Litter acceptance
Puppies with morphological defects are entered in the studbook, but receive the note: "Not allowed for breeding, because of ..."
Defects identified by the Breeding Warden must be recorded by him in the Wurfscheldeschein.
A breed warden should visit the litter within the first 4 days of life. A litter will be taken by the breed warden and only in exceptional cases by the veterinarian at the age of about 6 - 8 weeks (after vaccination and marking) of the puppies.
A breed warden is entitled to check the litter unannounced at any time.
Breeders are only allowed to sell healthy, regularly dewormed and vaccinated puppies.
The delivery of the puppies for small breeds may not take place before 10 weeks, for large breeds not before 8 weeks.
The litters must be reported in full to the studbook office for the 8th week. Puppies older than 4 months are no longer considered as litter and must be registered individually. The registration of the young dogs or older costs 150 Euro per animal. Puppies only get pedigrees when the whole litter is reported and registered. There must be no puppies without pedigrees.
Puppies must not be delivered before the final acceptance, otherwise the breeder will not receive any papers for the entire litter.
